Bake/Cook off!

Yesterday I baked French cheese sticks. I did not have the right cheese or milk so I used Colby instead of Gruyere, and cream and water respectively. It turned out more fluffy than usual because I only had self raising flour.

I liked how you substituted some ingredients with others you had at home instead of going out to get what the recipe said. Apart from being fluffy, did they taste just as good? And what mark out of 10 would you give yourself?
